Khushi Kapoor is going to work in ‘Mom 2’, the sequel of her mother Sridevi’s last film. Khushi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘The Archies’ in 2023 and now she has reached Noida for the shooting of ‘Mom 2’.

The original film Mom was a crime-thriller and revenge drama, in which Sridevi played the role of Devaki. In the story, her step daughter is gang raped by her classmates, and Devaki vows to avenge her daughter. Sridevi posthumously received the National Film Award for Best Actress for this role.
Father Boney Kapoor is producing MOM 2
MOM 2 is produced by Khushi’s father Boney Kapoor, who also contributed as co-producer on the original film. The film is being directed by Girish Kohli. Apart from this, Jisshu Sengupta and Karishma Tanna will also be seen in important roles in the film. Akshay Puri is also cooperating in the production of the film. MOM 2 is being shot in Noida’s new International Film City along the Yamuna Expressway. It is being said that this is the first film which will be shot at this location.
