Monsoon Forecast: The weather across the country is rapidly changing in March. Even in 2026, many states are experiencing good rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in several states for the next three days: March 3, 4, and 5. Tomorrow, on March 4, the festival of colours, Holi, will be celebrated across the country.
Rain and snowfall are also expected in many parts of Himachal Pradesh during Holi. Inclement weather is expected on Holi, although the weather will remain dry there as well. According to the IMD forecast, light rain may be recorded in Manali and surrounding areas on March 4.

Delhi Weather Forecast
According to the IMD, the weather in Delhi is expected to be normal on Holi. Winds have been warned to blow at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. The morning is expected to be cool. However, there will be bright sunshine in the afternoon. There is no forecast of rain in Delhi for the next three days.
UP Weather Update
The IMD has predicted strong northwesterly winds at 25 to 35 kilometers per hour for three to four days in the state. Temperatures are expected to rise in many places, including Agra, Mathura, Baghpat, Amethi, and Meerut. Drizzle is expected on Holi, March 4th, which could cause temperatures to drop by 1 to 2 degrees.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar, Mahe, Karaikal, Puducherry, Yanam, and Rayalaseema may experience heavy rainfall from March 3rd to 5th. Rainfall is also possible in West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
