The doors of opportunities are open for India, manufacturers should make quality their mantra – Modi
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called upon the Indian industry to make ‘quality’ its main mantra and said that in today’s era the world is looking for strong partners for manufacturing work and this is a big opportunity for India. The Prime Minister said that the recently signed Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with various countries have also opened up huge opportunities for India’s entrepreneurs and exporters.
He said that its benefit can be availed only by presenting quality products. Mr Modi was inaugurating the second webinar organized on Budget 2026-27. The day-long webinar will have four different sessions with the theme “Sustaining and Empowering Economic Growth”. The Prime Minister said that Indian industries will have to take steps with great confidence to take advantage of these opportunities. New technology will have to be adopted. Instead of skimping on research, investment will have to be increased. Quality will have to be improved. He said, “India has signed FTAs with many countries. Huge doors of opportunities have opened for us.
In such a situation, it is our responsibility to never compromise on quality.” He said, “You should have only one great mantra, quality, quality and more quality.” He said that it is the industry and business world that have to take advantage of the opportunities. The Prime Minister called upon the Indian manufacturers to offer better quality than the world level and said, “Quality is not compromised, maximum time, resources and intelligence have to be spent on this.” He asked the manufacturers to study the needs of the world market and Suggested to analyze and prepare our manufacturing capacity accordingly. Prime Minister Modi said, “Today the world is looking for reliable and strong partners for manufacturing. India has an opportunity to play this role strongly.” Today’s webinar will have four different sessions.
In these sessions, the first session is on manufacturing, upgrading the level of industries and areas of strategic importance, the second is on credit and market facilities for micro, small and medium enterprises, the third is on planning of economic areas of cities and the fourth session is on topics like infrastructure development, logistics and fares. In the inaugural session, the Prime Minister made special mention of the initiatives taken in the budget for the development of micro, small and medium enterprises, infrastructure, bio-farms, multi-modal logistics and carbon capture and storage. He said, “There is a big change going on in the world economy. Markets no longer just look at costs, they also look at healthy measures.” Emphasizing on the complete coordination between the Centre, State, Industry and institutions to achieve the goal of a developed India, Shri Modi said that this goal will be possible only through ‘partnership’. -Manohar, upreti.
