From Struggle to Success: The Inspirational Story of Raju Anandache and Rajtech Engineering
Sometimes life throws a person through such difficult situations that after returning from there, the same person becomes an example. The story of Raju Anandache is such an inspiring story. Their struggle started today from Honaga village in Belgaum district of Karnataka. Rajtech Engineering Has been established at Pan India level.
Raju Anandache was born in a farmer family. The house was made of mud and the roof was made of sugarcane leaves. The economic situation was very weak.
During the eighth grade, on the day of the village Jatra (fair), his house caught fire and the entire house was burnt to ashes. Clothes, books and years of hard work were gone in a single day.
After that accident, he completed his eighth, ninth and tenth studies in the same school dress. His pants got torn during the final exams of class 10th, but he could not afford new ones. He took the exam in the same pants with electrical tape applied from inside.
At the beginning of the tenth year, he had to stay in the hospital for two months due to serious illness. Got re-admission in school through half yearly examination, by then half the course had been completed.
But he prepared the entire syllabus on the basis of self-study and got first position in the village.
I dreamed of becoming an engineer, but did not get admission. The condition of the house had deteriorated. There was no money even to pay the fee of Rs 15 for Ganesh Utsav. Ultimately, I was forced to leave my studies midway.
After leaving college, he started his career with a job of Rs 20 per month. Gradually the salary became Rs 35 and then Rs 55. When he asked for an increase of Rs 60, instead of increasing it by Rs 5, he was fired from the job.
This was the biggest insult of his life. That very day he promised himself –
“One day I will become something big.”
While gaining experience, he got a chance to go to Dubai. Got good job and facilities there for three years.
But one thought kept running in his mind –
“If I stay here, I will move forward alone, but by returning to India, I can provide employment to many people like me.”
In 2009, he returned to India and started a small workshop.
Initially got small projects. Successfully completed a complex task in Goa, which others had not been able to complete. Gradually both his faith and work increased.
Later he started his own big workshop in Khanapur, from where people used to go out for employment. He decided to establish an industry there.
Large orders were received in the very first year and turnover increased significantly.
Today the situation is such that engineers from the same college which had not given him admission are working in his company.
A total of 7 major projects have been successfully completed so far:
Andhra Pradesh – 4
Nepal – 3
There are currently 5 projects in progress:
Gujarat – 2
Maharashtra – 2
Andhra Pradesh – 1
Apart from this, their products have reached Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana.
Today Rajtech Engineering is providing its services to Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Punjab, Jammu, Uttarakhand and Nepal.
Today 100 to 120 employees are employed in his company. But for them they are not just employees but part of the family.
The dream he had when leaving Dubai – “It is better to employ ten people than to become rich alone” – has come true today.
In view of his struggling journey and remarkable contribution to the industry, he has been selected for the prestigious “Maharashtra Business Icon” award for the year 2025.
