India vs Afghanistan Series 2026: Complete schedule announced
The schedule of the upcoming cricket series between India and Afghanistan has been officially released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This series will be played in June 2026 and will include one Test match and three ODI matches.

Information about this series was already known and it was decided that the series would be played in June, but till now its complete schedule was not clear. Recently BCCI has announced the complete schedule and venue of this series. Under this, the dates and venues of all the matches have been determined.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be seen playing during the series. Apart from this, Shubman Gill will also return to the field after a long time and is expected to make a significant contribution for Team India.

Afghanistan cricket team will visit India in June this year. The only test match during this tour will be played in New Chandigarh (Mullanpur) from June 6 to 10. This test match is also important for the Indian team as it will prepare the players for performance in the longer format. There will be three ODI matches between India and Afghanistan, which will be played in the second week of June. BCCI has announced the schedule of ODI matches as follows:

- Second ODI: June 17, Lucknow
- Third ODI: June 20, Chennai
This three-match ODI series is also important in terms of preparation for the 2027 ODI World Cup to be held next year. Team India is looking at this series as an opportunity to hone the players according to the conditions and wickets before the World Cup.
