7 people died, more than 20 injured in three separate road accidents in Rajasthan
The havoc of speeding in Rajasthan is continuously proving fatal. Even on a happy festival like Holi, road accidents have left many families in deep shock. Seven people died, while more than 20 were injured in three separate accidents in Dungarpur, Banswara and Dausa districts of Rajasthan. Police have started investigation in all the cases and have cited negligence as the main reason.
Accident on Jasela-Kasaria road
A tragic accident took place on Jasela-Kasaria road in Chitri police station area of Dungarpur. Here a motorcycle suddenly went out of control and collided with a tree on the roadside. The collision was so severe that the condition of three youths riding the bike, Vikram Dendor, Vinod Dendor and Vishnu Kumar, became critical. It is being told that all three were returning after attending a family function. With the help of local people, the injured were taken to Sagwara Hospital through 108 ambulance, but all three died during treatment. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of mourning in the village.
Two people died in Banswara
Similarly, a horrific road accident on the state highway in Banswara took the lives of two people. The accident was so serious that both of them died on the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the bodies to the district hospital for post-mortem. Due to the accident, there was a long jam on the highway, due to which the traffic was affected for a long time. Police officials have appealed to the people to be especially cautious during festivals and avoid driving under the influence of alcohol.
Tempo full of passengers overturned
In Dausa, a loading tempo full of passengers overturned due to high speed near Ratanpura Haripura on Dausa-Manoharpur National Highway-148. It is being told that more passengers were sitting in the vehicle than its capacity. 15 to 20 people were injured when the tempo overturned, including women and children. The injured were immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where their treatment is ongoing. The condition of some is said to be serious.
All three accidents have once again raised the question that for how long will ignoring road safety rules continue to take lives. In the preliminary investigation, the police have considered speeding and carelessness as the main reasons. Officials say that following rules and responsible driving is the most effective way to prevent such accidents.
