Tata Punch EV Facelift: Tata Motors has launched the new facelift model (2026-version) of its popular small electric SUV Punch EV in India. This is an updated version of the old model which includes many important changes like battery, range, design and features.
What’s new in facelift?
new design – The front look now looks a little different and cleaner. LED DRL and bumper have been updated
Large battery option – Now the Punch EV facelift offers both 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery options. Due to which the range has increased significantly.
More range – The ARAI-rated range with the 40 kWh battery reaches approximately 468 km. Whereas the 30 kWh one has a range of about 365–375 km.
Fast Charging – DC fast charging capacity is now up to 65 kW. Due to which the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just about 26 minutes.
Modern Interior – Features like 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital driver display, wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto are provided.
Security Features – Safety features like six airbags, ABS, ESP, TPMS, ISOFIX are now available in all variants
Online Booking and Delivery – Booking is open and deliveries are starting soon.

Starting prices for the facelifted Punch EV start at around ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). And in bigger battery and higher variants it goes up to ₹ 12.59 lakh. The special thing is that under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme, the price can be reduced to ₹ 6.49 lakh. In which battery rent has to be paid separately.
