Renuka Thakur out of test match

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed Renuka’s exit from the competition. The board has said that right-arm fast bowler Renuka has been ruled out of the one-off Test to be held at the WACA Ground, which is part of the ongoing multi-format series against Australia Women.

To manage her workload better, Renuka has been advised rest and will not be available for selection for the pink-ball test. BCCI’s medical team will keep a close eye on Renuka’s fitness progress.

Kashvi Gautam replaced Renuka Thakur

The board has selected Kashvi Gautam as the replacement for the right-arm pacer, who is yet to make his Test debut. Kashvi has played only 6 ODIs for India so far. In such a situation, this will be a great opportunity for the young fast bowler to showcase his talent.
