A few days ago, amidst the Kerala Story 2 certification controversy, Sudipto Sen, who directed The Kerala Storysparked a controversy with his remarks about not willing to make a film based on Whatsapp Forwards. Although the filmmaker later attempted to clarify his remarks, now producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah has hit back at the director for his remarks, also sharing more details about why Sudipto was not on board for the sequel.
In an interview with India TodayVipul Amrutlal Shah said, “I would like to put it to rest. He had written a script about Kerala Story 2, which was absolute trash. And I did not want to make that film, and that is why I went ahead with Kamakhya Narayan Singh for the sequel.”
