Talking to the media, Mehbooba Mufti said that we want to give this message to the people of the whole world that the people of Kashmir are with the people of Iran. We request the government to release those who are in jail today on this issue.

What did Mehbooba Mufti say?

Posting the video of the protest on social media, Mehbooba Mufti wrote, ‘I stand peacefully with those who stand with peace, and will stand against those who oppose till doomsday.’

Mehbooba’s statement clearly shows that she stands strongly in support of Iran. Apart from this, Mufti also spoke to the media and clarified her stand on many issues.

Because of which people have tried to express their anger and the result has been that today many people are in jail.

Mehbooba Mufti further said that we request the government to release those who are in jail today on this issue.

Earlier, PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti had also opposed the silence of the Organization of Islamic Corporation regarding the attack on Iran. He condemned the OIC as a mute spectator and called it a grave betrayal of the collective conscience and interests of the Muslim Ummah.
