Attack on the world’s largest oil company, Iran carried out drone attack on Aramco refinery, scary VIDEO surfaced
Drone Attack on Aramco Refinery: News of another drone attack on the Ras Tanura refinery of Saudi Arabia’s big oil company Aramco is coming to light. A spokesman for the Saudi Defense Ministry confirmed that an attempted drone strike today targeted the largest domestic refinery in Ras Tanura.
Initial investigation showed that the attack was carried out using a drone, but it caused no damage and was unsuccessful. On Monday this week, an Iranian Shahed-136 suicide drone caused a fire at the Ras Tanura refinery, forcing Aramco to temporarily shut down some units of the plant for safety reasons.
Video of drone attack surfaced
The debris from the attack caused a small fire which was quickly brought under control, but there was no impact on the supply of petroleum products in the local market. Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest oil exporter and most of its oil fields are on the east coast, across the Gulf from Iran. Video of Iranian drone attack on Aramco refinery has also surfaced.

It is noteworthy that after the joint attacks by US and Israel on Iran, Iran has intensified missile and drone attacks on US allies in the region. Iran is also targeting tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, through which about 20% of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas passes.
Aramco stopped LPG export
Following the attack earlier this week, Aramco halted exports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for a few weeks, although local supplies remained normal. The company is trying to redirect some exports through the Red Sea route to avoid the Strait of Hormuz, but Iran claims that this route is open only to Chinese ships.

Huge jump in oil prices
Meanwhile, due to increasing regional conflict, oil prices have increased rapidly. Brent crude prices rose $1.11, or 1.4%, to $82.53 a barrel on Wednesday, the highest level since January 2025. Prices may increase further due to supply concerns in the global market.
