gorakhpur A heart-wrenching murder case has come to light in PPganj police station area of the district. On March 2, 2026, the accused beat Vadini’s husband badly with the intention of killing him and then brutally murdered him by drowning him in water. The main accused of this heinous crime have been arrested by the police within just two days.
As part of the strict campaign against criminals being run on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police, Gorakhpur, the team led by Area Officer Campierganj and Police Station Head PPganj Arun Kumar Singh, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police North, took prompt action. In the case registered under case number 75/2026 section 103 (1) BNS, the three main accused were arrested from the police station area itself.
The names and addresses of the arrested accused are as follows:
Akhilesh, son of late Sadhusaran, resident of ward number 14, Gyanchakshu Nagar, police station PPganj, district Gorakhpur. Kamlesh, son of late Ramesh, resident of ward number 14, Gyanchakshu Nagar, police station PPganj, district Gorakhpur. Reema Devi wife Bihari, resident ward number 13, Shyam Nagar, police station PPganj, district Gorakhpur.
According to the information received, on the day of the incident, the accused first beat the deceased severely, due to which he was seriously injured. After this he was drowned in water and killed. On the basis of the application, a case was immediately registered and investigation started. The police team intensified the search for the accused based on local sources and evidence, as a result of which all three were successfully arrested.
