They shared the conditions there, their experiences, and their feelings about security. Lara Dutta told in the video that she is in Dubai with her daughter Saira, while her husband Mahesh Bhupathi is out for work. They are not with them.
She said, “She was shooting when it all started. Suddenly she heard loud explosions. Missiles were being intercepted in the sky and fighter jets were flying continuously. It was all very sudden and scary.” He said in the video, “There has been a lot of tension here for the last few days. I am in a safe area, but the windows are shaking due to the loud explosions. These explosions are so strong that even the doors tremble. Despite this, I have not felt even once that I am unsafe. There is definitely fear and discomfort, but there is confidence about safety.”
Praising the government of UAE, Lara said that the administration here has taken full care of every resident. He said, “Irrespective of which country one belongs to, everyone is getting equal security and respect. The government is making every effort to ensure that citizens remain safe. Every effort is being made to keep the situation normal.” Giving an example, he said that the gardener of his house comes daily and does his work, taking care of the lawn and watering the plants. Delivery people are also going to their work. It is clear from this that despite the tension, normal life has not come to a complete standstill. People are definitely alert, but are continuing their daily activities.
Lara Dutta told that she is looking for flights to return to India, but there are not many flights available at this time. She expressed confidence that she would find a way out.
