Release of Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ postponed, now it will hit the screens in June; Due to this the decision was taken

There was tremendous excitement among the fans about South Superstar Yash’s much awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups’. This film was scheduled to release on March 19, but now its date has been extended. The makers have announced that the film will now be released in theaters after 3 months. Yash gave this information to the fans by sharing a post on social media on the morning of March 4. He told that ‘Toxic’ has been made keeping in mind the global audience. The film has been shot in Kannada and English language, so that it can reach the audience not only in the country but all over the world. But due to the ongoing tension and uncertain situation in the Middle East, the makers have decided to postpone the release.

Information given through social media, reason for postponement explained

KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations announced a new date for the global theatrical release of their action drama film Toxic on the day of Holi i.e. today (March 4). Earlier this film was scheduled to be released worldwide on 19 March 2026, but due to the ongoing tension and regional instability in the Middle East, it will now be released on 4 June 2026.

This decision was taken after the advice of its major distribution partner Fars Films. Considering the impact on cinema operations in Gulf countries, the producers took this step by keeping a close eye on the situation. It is noteworthy that the grand trailer launch of the film was scheduled on March 8 in Bengaluru with the media from across the country and the entire promotional schedule had been finalized keeping in mind the release on March 19.

Along with rocking star Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasant and Tara Sutaria will be seen in important roles in the film. The story is written by Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, while dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam are also being prepared.
