Kiwi team cuts Africa’s final ticket for the second time

Opener Finn Allen played an important role in getting New Zealand a ticket to the final. Allen scored a stormy century. He scored a century in just 33 balls and led his team to victory in just 12.5 overs. Finn Allen hit 10 fours and 8 skyscraper sixes in his record century innings. At the same time, opener Tim Seaford played an inning of 58 runs.

Earlier, South Africa batted first and scored 169 runs. In this match played at the historic Eden Garden in Kolkata, the innings of the African team was full of ups and downs, but in the end the score was successful in reaching beyond 150 due to the explosive batting of Marco Yenson. Yenson scored a half century
In this difficult time, Tristan Stubbs and Marco Yenson took charge. Both of them gave new life to the innings by adding 73 runs for the sixth wicket and took the score close to 150. Lockie Ferguson broke this partnership by dismissing Stubbs. Stubbs scored 29 runs. Despite the continuous falling of wickets, Marco Jenson stood firm at one end. He scored unbeaten 55 runs in just 30 balls with the help of 2 fours and 5 sixes. Due to his aggressive innings, South Africa was successful in scoring 169 runs for 8 wickets.

For the Kiwi team, Rachin Ravindra took 2 wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs. Matt Henry took 2 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs. Cole McConkey took 2 wickets for 9 runs in 1 over, while Lockie Ferguson and Jimmy Neesham got 1 wicket each.
