Iran launches 70 new web platforms, big message!

These have emerged as an important part of Iran’s new cyber strategy, which aims to increase its influence both domestically and internationally. The move reflects changes in Iran’s cyber capabilities, particularly amid recent regional tensions and the 2026 Iran–US crisis.
Following are the main points of this new cyber strategy of Iran:-

Strategic Launch: “70 Web Launch” aims to make government services and information systems more secure and effective. This includes modernizing popular apps like BadeSaba and other government portals, which have recently been used for information warfare.

Home Control and Security: Iran’s strategy has focused on building an “Internet kill switch” and strengthening local Internet infrastructure to keep domestic systems safe during foreign cyber attacks.
Hybrid Warfare: According to experts, Iran’s new strategy combines domestic surveillance with external operations. This involves targeting critical infrastructure of rival countries, such as the US and Israel, using proxy hackers and cyber espionage.
Technical Diplomacy: The Iranian Ministry of Communications has placed cybersecurity and technology diplomacy among its top four strategic priorities, aiming to ensure a 10% share of the digital economy in GDP by 2026.
Psychological warfare: These new web platforms and apps are being used to influence public opinion and intimidate opponents.
