69 KM long road will be built in UP, good news for these districts!

Lucknow. Work is going on on many ambitious projects to further strengthen the road and highway network in Uttar Pradesh. Being the state with the largest number of expressways in the country, the effort to build new highways has gained momentum in UP. One of these projects is Lucknow-Barabanki-Sitapur Highway, which is going to prove to be a game changer for these districts in the next few years.

69 kilometer long route, 4 lane highway

This new highway will start from Chinhat (Lucknow) and reach NH-727 Chahalari Ghat in Bahraich. The total length will be 69 kilometers and this route will have four lanes. The highway will improve connectivity between Lucknow, Barabanki and Sitapur, as well as help connect the surrounding industrial areas and rural areas.

Land acquisition and compensation

The land acquisition process for this highway has started. A total of Rs 660 crore will be spent on this. Land owners will get a good amount as compensation, which will strengthen their financial position. A total of 85 hectares of land has been acquired for this.

road and bridge construction

The new road route will be ready with construction of three bypasses and 7 bridges as per DPR. Special emphasis has been laid on construction of four lanes on the route from Deva to Fatehpur. This route will pass through Salarpur, Vishunpur, Israuli, Basara and Rasulpur Panah Industrial Area and reach Fatehpur.

improve connectivity

The construction of the new highway will facilitate the people of Lucknow, Barabanki and Sitapur to travel towards the capital. Apart from this, this route will help in reducing the traffic pressure of Kursi Road of Lucknow and Ayodhya Lucknow Kisan Path Marg.
