X strict on AI war video, account ban warning!

Elon Musk-owned social media platform X has announced major changes to its creator revenue sharing program. The company said that it will take strict action against misleading videos made by AI, especially in sensitive times like war.

This step has been taken at a time when concerns are increasing about the spread of misinformation regarding tensions between the United States, Israel and Iran.

In a post, X’s product head Nikita Bear said that the company is changing its policies so that accurate and reliable information continues to reach people in times of war. He said that due to the rapidly increasing use of Artificial Intelligence, it has now become very easy to create fake videos that look like real ones, which can mislead people.

He told that recently a person was running 31 accounts in Pakistan, who was posting war videos made by AI. All these accounts were hacked and their names were changed.

Under the new policy, if a user posts AI-generated war videos without providing clear information, he will be suspended from the revenue sharing program for 90 days. Repeated rule violations may result in permanent removal from the program.

The company has also introduced a label called “Made with AI,” which will appear on posts that include AI-generated content. This will let people know that the content is not genuine.

The company hopes that this will increase transparency and prevent the spread of misinformation.

Recently, global tension has increased further after the news of the alleged death of Ali Khamenei. Amidst these events, Elon Musk and Nikita Bear said that traffic on X has reached an all-time high, as people are using the platform more for the latest information.
