Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has decided to go to Rajya Sabha. He made his views public by writing a post on social media. He said that besides being a member of both the houses of Bihar Legislature, he now wants to go to Rajya Sabha after Lok Sabha. Nitish Kumar will now file nomination for Rajya Sabha. Nitish Kumar wrote that for more than two decades, you have continuously maintained your trust and support with me, and on the strength of that, we have served Bihar and all of you with full devotion. It was on the strength of your trust and support that today Bihar is presenting a new dimension of development and respect. For this I have expressed my gratitude to you many times in the past also.
From the time I started my parliamentary career, I had a desire in my mind to become a member of both the Houses of the Bihar Legislative Assembly as well as the Parliament. In this sequence, I want to become a member of Rajya Sabha in this election.
I want to assure you with all sincerity that this relationship of mine with you will continue in future also and my resolve to build a developed Bihar with you will remain the same. The new government that will be formed will have my full support and guidance.
