Ashish Kumar, a resident of Bettiah, Bihar, was the captain on the ship. Whereas, Dalip, resident of Nagaur, Rajasthan has also lost his life. Dalip’s body has not been found yet. The body of Ashish Kumar has been found there. He was also reported missing after the attack. Iran has so far attacked many merchant navy ships.

Skylight’s Captain Ashish Kumar and Dalip were working on the ship for a long time. Iran’s missile had fallen on their Skylight oil tanker ship. When Iran attacked the oil tanker, the ship was stopped near the Khasab coast of Oman. The other crew of the ship were saved, but Ashish Kumar and Dalip, who were in the engine room of the ship at the time of the attack, could not be saved. Oman had condemned this attack by Iran. Because the ship was not crossing the Strait of Hormuz. It was in Oman’s territorial waters. After the death of both innocent Indian sailors, Iran has now come under the scanner.

Iran had announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz after the attacks by America and Israel. Iran has threatened that if any ship tries to cross the Strait of Hormuz, it will be attacked and sunk. 35 Indian ships are also stranded near Hormuz. The owners of these ships have appealed to the Indian Government for help. US President Donald Trump has ordered the US Navy to provide security in the Strait of Hormuz and evacuate the ships from there. So that the rest of the countries of the world can get fuel and their energy security is not in danger.
