Jamie Lee Curtis breaks silence on ‘The Bear’ ending rumours
Jamie Lee Curtis has finally opened up and teased fans about the future of the highly acclaimed series The Bear.
In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday, March 3, the 67-year-old actress, who portrays Donna Berzatto, the mother of Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and Natalie (Abby Elliott), claimed the show is nearing its conclusion.
“It is the end of the show,” Curtis doubled down while responding to speculation about a February 17 Instagram post in which she referenced “completing the story” of The Bear.
She added, “Everybody knows it’s the end of the show. I’m not breaking any news to anybody. It’s the end of the show — they’ve said it from the beginning.”
However, despite Curtis’s remarks, the show’s creators and producers have yet to issue any official confirmation about the series ending.

The fifth season of The Bear, which could potentially be its last, was announced by FX in July 2025 shortly after season four premiered, although a release date has yet to be revealed.

During its first three seasons, the show earned 21 Emmy Awards, including the Outstanding Comedy Series honour in 2023, when it collected a total of 10 Emmys.
