The hero of this victory was Finn Allen, who batted stormily and scored a century in just 33 balls and made the match one-sided. New Zealand achieved the target of 170 runs in just 12.5 overs.
Finn Allen’s innings in this match was so aggressive that the South African bowlers looked completely helpless. Allen adopted an aggressive approach from the beginning and hit fours and sixes all around the ground. Chasing the target of 170 runs, New Zealand’s openers Finn Allen and Tim Seifert gave an explosive start. There was a partnership of 117 runs between the two in 9 overs for the first wicket. Seifert scored 58 runs in 33 balls, while Allen completed his first half-century in just 19 balls and then reached his century at a faster pace.
With this spectacular victory of New Zealand, the team has once again made it to the finals after 2021.
