New Delhi. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has filed his nomination papers today as NDA candidate for Rajya Sabha elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary and many senior leaders of BJP and JDU were present on the occasion. Now that it has been decided that Nitish Kumar is going to Rajya Sabha and there is going to be a change of leadership in Bihar, the discussion has also started regarding the name of the new Chief Minister. There is speculation on the names of many leaders for CM. It is expected that the Chief Minister will be from BJP while there can be two Deputy CMs from JDU.

At present, the name of current Deputy CM and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary is being discussed the most for the post of Chief Minister. Samrat is considered a confidant of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and also has experience of working with Nitish Kumar. Union Minister Nityanand Rai’s name is also being taken as the next Chief Minister. Nityanand has been the President of Bihar BJP. He has considerable political experience as a 3-time MP and 4-time MLA. There is speculation that BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal will also be made the Chief Minister.

At the same time, the name of five-time MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia is also being strongly considered as the new Chief Minister. Apart from these names, there are speculations on some other names also. The name of Deputy CM of Bihar, Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha is also in discussion and the name of Ramkripal Yadav is also being taken as CM in the political circles. Although in many states BJP has made such leaders as Chief Ministers whose names were not discussed anywhere, now it remains to be seen whether in Bihar too BJP will once again surprise everyone by making such an unexpected leader the CM.
