Mumbai. The marriage of Arjun Tendulkar, son of Indian cricket team’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, is to take place on Thursday in Mumbai. Arjun is getting married to entrepreneur Sania Chandhok. Many legendary cricketers of India have reached the ceremony to give their blessings to Arjun and Sania.

Prominent names who arrived at the wedding ceremony include former Indian captain MS Dhoni, former captain and head coach Rahul Dravid, legendary leg-spinner Anil Kumble, legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, former cricketer and Karnataka State Cricket Association president Venkatesh Prasad.

Arjun’s wedding rituals began earlier this week with many traditional rituals and celebrations. Pre-wedding events including a mehendi and sangeet function were held in Mumbai, which was attended by many former and current cricketers. After months of preparations and celebrations, he is going to marry his long-time partner Sania Chandhok on Thursday.

The couple got engaged in August 2025 in a private ceremony attended by close family members and friends. Arjun is a cricketer like his father. He plays domestic cricket for Goa. After Mumbai Indians in IPL, he has joined LSG before the next season. Arjun’s fiancee, Sania, is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur from a well-known business family. She is the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, chairman of Gravis Group.

She has made her career in the pet-care and animal welfare field and works as a veterinary technician and entrepreneur. Sachin Tendulkar has also invited President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for Arjun’s wedding. Tendulkar has also invited top leaders and industrialists of Maharashtra for the wedding.
