The number of stray dogs has increased tremendously in the city and there are many incidents of attacks by stray dogs. Now Pitya Bhai i.e. Ramesh Pardeshi from Mulshi Pattern has also been bitten by a dog. He has given information about this by sharing a post on social media.

“Yesterday I went for a run at ARAl hill as usual while running there were 4 to 5 dogs eating at one place and one of them bit my thigh while passing by. I went ahead and an animal lover friend like me was feeding 10 to 12 dogs (I sometimes give bread and biscuits to starving dogs in CT) I said to him oh don’t give food here I was bitten by a dog on the back. Give it to me on main road Otherwise, these children and the elderly come on and I am gone.”

He further wrote, “When we got home and took a bath, we noticed that we felt like we had been bitten on the back, and it hurt more. So, if we went to the government hospital in the morning, they said that we would have to take a total of 5 injections because it is type 3. Now we have taken 2 and we have to take the rest in 7 days.. If the same thing had been bitten by a child or an old man, how much would it have cost…?”
