Preparation for Rajinikanth’s new film ‘Jailor 2’
Mumbai: Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Jailor 2’ is going to be even more exciting. Director Nelson Dilipkumar is planning to make this sequel even more grand and star-studded than the first part. ‘Jailor’, released in 2023, had a great performance at the box office, and now the news of its sequel is filling fans with excitement.

According to the latest information, the king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan will be seen in a special cameo role in this film. This will be the first time that Shahrukh and Rajinikanth will be seen together on screen. This has been confirmed by Mohanlal’s personal stylist Jishad Shamsuddin through his Instagram Stories. Jishad shared an AI generated image in which a grey-haired Shah Rukh is driving the car while Mohanlal is sitting next to him and Rajinikanth and Shiva Rajkumar are seen at the back.

The caption accompanying this image was that fans are desperate to see a similar scene in ‘Jailor 2’. Sharing this, Jishad wrote, “Kandippa Irukkum” i.e. “It will definitely happen”. It is clear that Shahrukh’s cameo is confirmed and possibly these four legends will be seen together in a scene. Mohanlal had done a cameo in the role of Rajinikanth’s friend Mathew in the first part and now he is returning in ‘Jailor 2’ as well. Similarly, Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar is also reprising his character.
Film release and other information
According to reports, most of the shooting of the film has been completed and the final schedule will include Shah Rukh Khan. This sequence can be shot in March 2026, in which Rajinikanth, Shahrukh, Mohanlal and Shiv Rajkumar will work together. Rajinikanth will again play the role of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in ‘Jailor 2’. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, S.J. Many big names like Surya, Ramya Krishnan, Vijay Sethupathi are included.
Nora Fatehi and Vidya Balan are also mentioned in some reports. Nelson Dilipkumar’s direction and Anirudh Ravi Chander’s music will make it more special. The film is expected to release in 2026 and will create a stir pan-Indian. Although, the official announcement is yet to be made, but this post of Jishad has filled the fans with excitement.
