Murder of son-in-law revealed in dispute over liquor money, two arrested

Palamu, Jharkhand:- The police has revealed the murder of youth Yugesh Singh that took place on February 28 in Chedabar of Chainpur police station area of ​​Palamu district. Police have arrested two accused in this case. According to the information, the deceased Yugesh Singh was a resident of Nawabazar police station area of ​​Palamu and his in-laws house is in Chedabar village. On February 28, his body was recovered from the bushes on the banks of Koel river.

In this case, the wife of the deceased had lodged a named FIR in Chainpur police station. Palamu police disclosed the case during investigation and arrested Chedabar residents Shivpujan Singh and Jaiprakash Singh. In this regard, Palamu Superintendent of Police Rishma Ramesan informed that this murder was carried out over a dispute over demanding money for liquor. According to SP, Yugesh Singh was under the influence of alcohol on the day of the incident.

Meanwhile, both the accused reached there and started asking him for money for liquor. The dispute over money escalated, after which the accused hit Yugesh on the head with a fighter and strangulated him to death. After the incident, the accused threw the body in the bushes on the banks of Koel river. The police investigated and solved the case and arrested both the accused.
