The new suicide drone ‘Sheshnag Drone-150’ being developed in India can give new strength to the country’s defense capability in the coming times. This drone is said to be capable of long range attack and has the ability to challenge the enemy air defense system.
Ability to hit up to 1000 kilometers
The biggest feature of Sheshnag Drone-150 is its long range. This drone is believed to be capable of attacking targets at a distance of more than 1000 kilometers. Additionally, it can remain in continuous operation for about five hours, making it possible to use it for both surveillance and attack.

Another important feature of this drone is its ability to attack in “swarm”. Multiple drones can confuse enemy air defense systems by flying together and then attack the target with precision. This technique is considered very effective in modern warfare.
Capacity to carry heavy warhead
The Sheshnag-150 drone can carry a warhead weighing around 25 to 40 kg. With this capability it may be able to cause serious damage to important enemy targets, military vehicles or infrastructure.
Contribution of indigenous startups
This drone is being developed by Bengaluru-based defense startup NewSpace Research & Technologies. It is said that this drone had completed its first test flight about a year ago. Since then, work is going on to further improve its capabilities.
India’s great power will increase
Experts believe that long-range drones equipped with swarm technology will play an important role in future wars. In such a situation, indigenous drones like Sheshnag-150 can give a new direction to India’s military power and further strengthen the security of the borders.
