However, apart from digestion and eating, there can be some other reasons for stomach pain. If digestion is not proper, constipation, gas, acidity and wrong eating habits increase the problem of stomach ache. Apart from this, stomach pain can also be due to viral infection. People who take too much stress also complain of stomach ache. Women have pain during and before menstruation. Kidney stones, gallbladder stones, liver swelling, appendicitis and children also suffer from stomach ache due to stomach worms.

What is the Ayurvedic remedy for stomach ache?

According to Acharya Balkrishna, in case of stomach ache, you should not eat food till the pain lasts. To reduce pain, roast one-fourth spoon of carom seeds and add a pinch of black salt to it. After this it is to be taken with lukewarm water. First chop the parsley and salt and drink water over it. This remedy reduces stomach pain.

What to eat when you have stomach ache?

When the stomach pain subsides a little, you should eat food. In case of this problem, you should eat light food. You can eat thin khichdi of moong dal. Can eat banana. Curd also helps in digestion. Coconut water, ORS and ginger tea also reduce stomach pain.

What should not be done in case of stomach ache?

In case of stomach pain, one should avoid eating tea, coffee, milk and spicy fried foods. One should not do too much exercise when having stomach ache. One should also avoid consuming sour fruits. Do not take sugar and alcohol for stomach ache.
