Haryana: Encounter between police and miscreant in Haryana, accused shot in leg

Haryana News: Another encounter took place between the police and the miscreant in the case of murder of property dealer Satyavan in Rohtak, Haryana. In this encounter, criminal Deepak, resident of Lath village, got injured after being shot by the police. He was later arrested and taken for treatment. PGIMS Rohtak Has been admitted.

According to the police, the encounter took place on Gandhra to Atayal Road. Based on secret information, the police had set up a blockade in the area. Meanwhile, the suspected criminal was surrounded and he was asked to surrender. But the accused started firing on the police team.

About 18 rounds of bullets were fired from both sides. During this time, a bullet from the miscreant hit the police vehicle, while the bullet also hit the bullet proof jacket of ASI Hitendra. Because of the jacket, the ASI had a narrow escape and did not suffer any serious injuries.

In retaliation by the police, Deepak was shot in the leg, due to which he got injured and fell down. He was controlled on the spot. During the search, an illegal weapon was also recovered from him. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused was planning to commit some other crime. The police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the case.
