IND vs ENG T20 WC: England won the toss in the semi-finals, Indian team will bat first

Mumbai : The second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is being played on Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Where England won the toss and decided to bowl first against India. After winning the toss, England captain Harry Brook said that the wicket looks good, hopefully we will be able to get a good start with the ball. There is one change in the team, Jamie Overton has come in the eleven in place of Rehan.

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said that we wanted to bat first. Semifinals, big game, and the wind is blowing. I don’t think there will be much dew. The pitch is looking good. We have played a different kind of cricket, today also we will try to do something similar. There is no change in the team.

India XI: Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakraborty.

England XI: Phil Salt, Jos Buttler (wk), Harry Brook (c), Jacob Bethel, Tom Banton, Sam Curran, Will Jacques, Jamie Overton, Liam Dawson, Jofra Archer and Adil Rashid.

British High Commission celebrates cricket before India-England semi-final

The British High Commission in India on Thursday showed a similar passion for cricket ahead of the T20 World Cup semi-final between India and England at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In a post on Twitter, the British High Commission said, “Cricket is more than just a game and celebrated the fans who bring the game to life, and wished both teams the best of luck ahead of the big clash.”

New Zealand have booked their place in the final after an emphatic nine-wicket win over South Africa in the first semi-final, which was also fueled by Finn Allen’s record-breaking century. The winner of Thursday’s match will face New Zealand in Sunday’s title match. Co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the tournament began on 7 February and will end on 8 March.
