‘Will give up their lives, but won’t let them go’…..Political stir in Patna due to talk of Nitish Kumar going to Delhi, crowd of workers gathered at his residence

Patna. Today is going to be recorded in the pages of history in the politics of Bihar, but before that the capital Patna has been transformed into a ‘political arena’. The news of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar going to Rajya Sabha has created a storm among JDU workers, which even Nitish Babu himself could not have imagined. There is a gathering of hundreds of supporters since morning outside the Chief Minister’s residence (1, Anne Marg). The atmosphere is such that screams and tears are visible everywhere. The workers are climbing the barricades and pleading, “Sir, don’t leave us orphans.”

“Our Holi has turned into mourning” – veteran leader cried bitterly

The view outside the Chief Minister’s residence is heart-wrenching. JDU’s senior leader Rajiv Ranjan Patel started crying bitterly in front of the camera. He said with tears in his throat, “Ever since this news broke yesterday, no JDU worker from Bihar has celebrated Holi. Stoves have not been lit in our houses. We have been lathicharged, shed blood and sweat so that Nitish Kumar can be seen as the Chief Minister. Today, without asking the workers, he is being sent to Delhi, this is unbearable.”

The anger of the angry workers is now spilling over to the ally BJP also. Rajiv Ranjan Patel challenged the BJP through gestures and said, “If anyone thinks that he has so much power in his face that he can change the leadership, then dissolve the assembly today itself and hold elections. Milk will become milk and water will become water. We will not let Nitish Kumar go to file nomination. If he has to go to Rajya Sabha, then his son Nishant Kumar should be sent.”

Heavy security outside CM residence, attempt to cross barricades

In view of the worsening situation, Patna Police has made strict security arrangements outside the Chief Minister’s residence. Forces are deployed at every nook and corner and barricades have been installed. The protesting workers are repeatedly trying to break the barricades and go inside. The workers say that they had gone door-to-door asking for votes in the name of Nitish Kumar and not for anyone else.

Last day of nomination: Will the decision be taken in the presence of Amit Shah?

Today i.e. 5th March is the last day for Rajya Sabha nominations. If sources are to be believed, Nitish Kumar can file nomination on behalf of JDU today. At the same time, on behalf of BJP, National President Nitin Naveen will also file nomination today itself. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself will be present in Patna. This ‘power game’ to be held in the presence of Shah will decide the next direction of Bihar politics.

Will Nitish Kumar bow down?

The biggest question is whether Nitish Kumar will change his decision after seeing these tears of his loyal workers? Or will the ‘Nitish era’ end in Bihar and the new leadership of BJP will begin? The next few hours are going to be decisive for the future of Bihar.
