Know why Vajrasana is the only asana which can be done after eating?

Vajrasana is one such yoga asana, which is considered simple and effective. Its special thing is that it does not require any special place or much time to do it. You can easily do this at home, in the office, or even after eating. This is why yoga experts recommend doing it daily.

The Ministry of AYUSH has described it as a simple and effective yoga asana. According to him, Vajrasana strengthens the digestive system, strengthens the thighs and calves and brings mental peace. This is the only yoga asana which can be done immediately after meals, which relieves stomach problems like constipation and acidity.

Apart from this, regular practice of this yoga asana can reduce the problem of high blood pressure. This asana strengthens the muscles of the legs and gives strength to the body. If we take long and deep breaths while sitting in Vajrasana, it also strengthens the lungs.

If people whose stomach is protruding, do Vajrasana daily, their stomach starts coming in within a few days. This asana calms the mind, increases concentration and removes restlessness from the mind. Along with this, mental stress also reduces.

If one does not have much time to do the asana, then it should be done daily for just 5-10 minutes after eating food. Doing this provides immediate relief from acidity and bloating. It strengthens muscles and increases concentration.
