Prepare Well
You have to tackle things well. And for that, you must bring a Pokémon that knows Surf and Strength. You’ll also want someone with Sleep Powder or Thunder Wave and at least 30+ Ultra Balls to make a strong start.
The Boulder Puzzle
This is the next quest. Once you are inside the caves, you’ll see large boulders near holes. Use your Strength to push them into the pits, as this is an important move. Just know that doing so will make the boulders fall into the basement and block the fast-moving water currents, allowing you to surf to Articuno’s platform.
Surf Well
You have to move to the lowest floor. If you’ve blocked the currents correctly, the water will be calm. This is a good sign, as you will be able to move in the direction you choose quite swiftly. Surf to the small island in the top-left corner.
The Fight
But that is not enough, as you will have to save your game right in front of it! Articuno is Level 50. Do all you can to drop its HP down to the “red zone” using False Swipe or weak attacks.
The Capture
