Nepal Election 2026 Results Live Updates: After Bangladesh, now counting of votes for general elections 2026 is going on in Nepal. After counting of votes on 165 seats, preparations are underway to declare the results as soon as possible, however, it may take 2-3 days for the results of all the seats to be declared. With the counting of votes, the results have also started coming. New political party Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) won one seat and is leading in 36 seats, while Nepali Congress is leading in five, CPN (UML) in three and Nepali Communist Party is leading in one seat. According to initial results, counting of votes is going on on 46 seats. It is being said that in high altitude hilly areas, it takes at least a day to collect the ballot boxes and bring them to the counting centres. In such a situation, the remaining election results will be declared later.

Nepal Election 2026 Results Updates:

  • Former Kathmandu mayor Balendra Shah, popularly known as Balen, is leading over ousted prime minister and Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) president Oli in Jhapa 5 constituency.
  • According to RSP Central Committee member RK Dhungana, RSP has won Kathmandu 1 seat. Candidate Ranju Darshana has won the election by a huge margin.

Let us tell you here that in the elections held in Nepal on Thursday (March 05, 2026), about 60 percent of the eligible voters had cast their votes. More than 3,400 candidates from 65 parties are contesting in this election. Who is leading on which seat in Nepal elections and whose party is moving towards forming the government.
