The match remained full of excitement till the last over and thousands of spectators present in the stadium celebrated the victory enthusiastically.

India’s strong batting

Batting first in the match, India made a big score of 253 runs at the loss of seven wickets. The most important contribution to the team was from Sanju Samson. He took the team to a strong position by playing a brilliant inning of 89 runs. This fast start by India set a big target for England and created pressure from the very beginning of the match.

With this victory, India has made it to the finals, where it will face New Zealand. This match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said after the match that reaching the final is a very special moment for the team. He also praised the England team and said that this match was very challenging. If India wins the final, then it can become the first team to win the T20 World Cup title for the second consecutive time.
