Ranchi: Now preparations are being made to provide medical facilities to the ministers, MLAs and former MLAs of Jharkhand on the lines of IAS-IPS officers. The Health Department has prepared a proposal related to this. Cabinet approval will be taken. After getting consent, the new system will be implemented.

All India Services officers receive medical facilities and reimbursement of medical expenses under the All India Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1954. Based on this rule, reimbursement of medical expenses of MLAs and former MLAs will be paid from the Jharkhand Assembly Secretariat.
