Audi steps into Formula 1 racing, launches its first RS 5 hybrid car in Melbourne
Audi refreshes old memories
Audi took out its old famous race car Audi R8 from the museum, whose design is like a crocodile. This car won the Race of a Thousand Years held in Australia in the year 2000. The special thing was that this car was being driven by the same driver, Alan McNish, who had won the race 26 years ago.
Audi welcomed the guests
Even before the excitement of the race began, the Audi team welcomed many special guests. Celebrities like famous Australian surfer Stephanie Gilmore and renowned chef Guimaoul Brahimi also attended the event. Sunday is International Women’s Day. On this occasion, Audi organized a program named Girls on Track, which aims to inspire girls and women to make a career in racing.
F1 is special for Audi
Company CEO Gernot Dollner says that entering Formula-1 is the beginning of a new era for the company. This is not just limited to the racing track but is also a big change in the company’s thinking and way of working. He said that when everyone works together towards a common goal, anything can be achieved.
Time has value in racing
In the world of racing, even a thousandth of a second is very precious. This teaches how important it is to be completely focused and precise in work. Rather than being afraid of challenges, Audi sees this racing project as a way to improve and learn something new every day.
