This rule will be implemented in a phased manner from March 28.

Minister Meutya Hafidh said that this step has been taken to protect children from online threats. According to him, today children are facing many risks on the internet, which include problems like pornography, cyber bullying, online fraud and digital addiction. He said that the government is taking strict steps in the digital space to safeguard the future of children.
