Vijay Joseph And Trisha Seen Together At A Wedding Ceremony Video Goes Viral On Social Media

Tamil film actor Vijay Joseph and actress Trisha Krishnan were recently seen together at a wedding reception in Chennai. This is his first public appearance since Vijay’s wife Sangeetha Sornalingam filed a divorce petition against him, accusing Vijay of having extramarital affairs. The video of both of them being seen together is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

Vijay and Trisha attended the wedding reception of producer Kalpati Suresh and Meenakshi Suresh’s son. The Kalpathy family is known to be active in the field of film production and distribution. In the viral video, Vijay is seen getting out of the car in traditional attire with a bouquet of flowers in his hand, while Trisha is seen walking behind him. This public appearance comes at a time when the divorce case between Vijay and his wife is in the news.

According to reports, in a petition filed on February 27, Vijay’s wife Sangeetha Sornalingam has sought divorce in the Chengalpattu District Court. In this petition filed in December 2025, he has made many serious allegations to end the marriage. In the petition, Sangeeta has accused Vijay of extramarital affair, mental cruelty, neglect and abandonment. He has also requested the court to hear the entire case ‘in-camera’, so that the family can be saved from additional stress and public discussion.

The petition states that the marriage has irretrievably broken down and a public debate could cause additional humiliation and mental anguish. Sangeeta also alleged that since the year 2021, Vijay had become emotionally distant from her and kept behaving abusively with her.

She claimed that the actor pushed her into a state of constructive desertion, forcing her to live separately even though they lived in the same house. The petition also said that Vijay’s “open relationship” with a female actress caused tension for his family.

Sangeeta said in the court that this entire controversy has also affected her children Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha. According to him, this situation caused the children to face discomfort and embarrassment among their friends. The petition also mentioned that between August 2024 and February 2025, he had tried to resolve the dispute with Vijay several times through talks and notices.

Vijay and Sangeeta were married in 1998 in the United Kingdom, after which the wedding ceremony was held in traditional customs in India in 1999.

After the news of divorce came out, another discussion started on social media. Some fans claimed that Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is not following his father on Instagram. Many users shared the screenshot and said that they are following some other people including actor Vijay Sethupathi, but not Vijay.

However, some fans say that Jason Sanjay already did not follow his father and his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kalagam on Instagram. Meanwhile, Jason Sanjay is busy with his directorial debut Sigma, starring actor Sandeep Kishan in the lead role.
