New Delhi. Due to tensions in the Middle East, there is concern about the supply of energy needs around the world. There are speculations that it may also affect India’s energy supply. How the energy supply will happen due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz remains a big question. Meanwhile, Indian government sources have said that our situation is quite good in terms of crude oil, oil products and LPG. India is in a good position as per its current energy reserves. We have far more energy sources than are trapped in the Strait of Hormuz. We will compensate for the supply shortfall from the Strait of Hormuz by increasing energy supplies from other geographies.
