From a technical point of view, the film progresses like a beautiful looking novel. Ranikhet has been captured beautifully in cinematography. Every close-up and every landscape shot looks very thoughtfully composed. A glimpse of theater is also visible in the film. The lighting and framing used in some scenes are reminiscent of the style of theatre.
background music of the film
The background music of the film is light jazz and blues, which flows with the entire story. The songs of “Jab Khuli Kitab” are also simple and simple, which instead of dominating the story, make it more natural.
Overall, Saurabh Shukla’s “Jab Khuli Kitab” gives an emotional and bitter-sweet experience. Its story seems full of truth and the characters also appear before the audience with complete honesty. The film inspires to think deeply on family, marriage and human relationships without being preachy. However, its climax may seem sudden and a bit hasty to some viewers.
