Colors of culture and development were seen in Holi of Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated the festival with the public.

Uttarakhand News: This time the festival of Holi in Uttarakhand was not just a celebration of colors, but the message of culture, faith and development of the state was also clearly visible in it. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated Holi with the people by participating in many programs of the state and expressed his commitment towards the traditions and development of the state.

A glimpse of folk culture seen in the Chief Minister’s residence

The rich folk culture of Uttarakhand was seen in the Holi Milan program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence in Dehradun. Artists from different areas of the state gave their traditional presentations in the programme. Folk artists from Garhwal, Kumaon, Jaunsar and Terai regions made the atmosphere festive with their songs and dance.

Artists presented Harul dance

Artists from Jaunsar region presented traditional Harul dance, while Holyaras from Kumaon enthralled everyone with their traditional Holi songs. Folk songs resonating on the beats of Dhol, Manjira and other traditional instruments filled the entire atmosphere with colors and music. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also participated enthusiastically with the artists. He danced with folk artistes and also played traditional instruments. This event gave the message that the state government is committed to promoting the folk culture and traditional art of Uttarakhand.

Also met former Chief Ministers

On the occasion of Holi, Chief Minister Dhami also followed the tradition of political etiquette. He met the former Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand and wished them Happy Holi. He went to the residence of Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Trivendra Singh Rawat and met them and congratulated them on Holi. This meeting is being seen as an initiative to maintain political respect and tradition.

Public support shown in Champawat tour

The Chief Minister’s visit to Champawat on the occasion of Holi was also very important. A large number of people participated in the programs organized during this period. This clearly showed that people have faith in the work of the government. During the tour, the Chief Minister inaugurated the fair organized at Purnagiri Temple. He also gave information about the ongoing development works in the temple area. The government is making better arrangements for parking, drinking water and crowd management for the convenience of the devotees.

Enthusiasm in Kali Kumaon Holi Festival

Chief Minister Dhami Kali Kumaon also participated in Holi Rang Mahotsav and Holi Milan ceremony organized at Lohaghat. Here he met people and talked to them. A large number of people participated in these programs organized amidst drums and traditional songs. A festive atmosphere was seen in the entire area.

Historic Holi Milan in Khatima

The Holi Milan program organized in Khatima was also very special. A large number of people came here to play Holi with the Chief Minister. The enthusiasm of the people was worth seeing in the atmosphere full of colors and sounds of drums. People also raised slogans of “Dhami Zindabad” in the program. This event became a symbol of the strong emotional connect between the Chief Minister and the public.

In his address, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is continuously working for the preservation and development of Sanatan culture and religious places. He said that it is the priority of the government to protect the cultural identity and traditions of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
