Sidra Niazi breaks silence on husband and Bollywood lookalikes

Pakistani television actress Sidra Niazi recently spoke about her personal life and public comparisons during Geo TV’s Ramzan special Hasna Mana Hai, hosted by Tabish Hashmi.

Sidra, who has earned acclaim for her roles in popular dramas such as Sukoon, Pyaar Tou Warh Gaya, Mehshar, Khushbo Mein Basay Khat, Samjhota, Zakham, Dhoka, Inaam-e-Mohabbat, as well as Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi and Sanwal Yaar Piya, shared insights about her husband.

She described him as a private and mysterious person who prefers to keep his identity confidential. “My husband loves Lahore’s cuisine and has unique tastes. He prefers to stay out of the spotlight, and he requested that his name not be revealed on television,” Sidra said. The show reportedly received numerous requests from viewers to respect her husband’s privacy before the interview aired.

Sidra also addressed comparisons made between her and Bollywood stars. “I’m often compared to Katrina Kaif and Yami Gautam,” she said. “While I haven’t seen all of their work, people draw these comparisons based on appearance. There is a clear difference between us, but I understand why people notice the resemblance.”

With a strong social media presence of over 1.5 million followers on Instagram, Sidra Niazi continues to be admired for her acting talent and striking screen presence.
