On the day of Holi, a young man was stabbed to death in Titrauda village of Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, which created a sensation in the area. The altercation that started over a trivial matter soon turned into a violent clash and the attackers stabbed the young man with a knife and took his life. In view of the tense situation in the village after the incident, heavy police force has been deployed.

The deceased has been identified as Amrit Sharma, who was a resident of nearby Badwad village. According to the information, Amrit had come to Titrauda village on the invitation of his friend Sameer to attend the Holi feast. It is told that he reached a chicken shop in the village, where he had an argument with some youth present there over chicken.

According to eyewitnesses and family members, the dispute suddenly escalated and some youth surrounded Amrit. It is alleged that five people including Suhail, Anas, Shokeen and Chinku together attacked Amrit with knives. The attackers attacked him several times. It is being told that one attack was made directly in the heart, one in the stomach and three attacks were made near the waist. Amrit died on the spot due to severe injuries and excessive bleeding.

As soon as information about the incident was received, there was panic in the area. The deceased’s uncle Kallu Sharma alleged that the family had no previous dispute with anyone and the attack was carried out suddenly. He has accused the youth of Muslim community of murder.

In view of the tense atmosphere in the village after the incident, the police and administration have deployed additional forces as a precautionary measure. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

In this case, a case of murder has been registered against the named accused at Singhawali Ahir Police Station. According to the police, several teams have been formed to search for the accused and possible hideouts are being raided.
