UP Deputy Keshav Prasad Maurya narrowly escaped, helicopter made emergency landing at Lucknow airport, suddenly smoke started coming out.

Lucknow. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya narrowly escaped a major accident on Saturday. A few seconds after take off, his helicopter developed a technical fault, due to which it started filling with smoke. Seeing the situation, the pilot immediately made an emergency landing at Amausi Airport.

The Deputy CM was to reach Kaushambi at around 11:30 am, where a meeting was proposed with party officials and departmental officials. Apart from this he also had to inspect various development projects. He left by helicopter from La Martiniere Ground. Shortly after takeoff, smoke started spreading in the helicopter due to a technical fault. The pilot showed wisdom and immediately made a safe landing at Amausi Airport. A major accident was averted as the helicopter was landed in time. Deputy CM is completely safe.
