Attention cricket fans… Railways’ big gift for T20 Final, special train will run from Delhi to Sabarmati, see schedule

Lucknow. Railways has given a big relief to the cricket fans for the final match of T20 World Cup 2026. In view of this important match on Sunday in Ahmedabad, where plane tickets are expensive as well as unavailable, Indian Railways has decided to run a special train from New Delhi to Sabarmati (Ahmedabad).

This special train number 04062 will leave from New Delhi Railway Station at 11:45 pm tonight. The train will proceed via Delhi Cantt, Gurugram and Jaipur and reach Sabarmati station at 2:30 pm tomorrow (Sunday). The entire journey will take approximately 14 hours 45 minutes. A total of 19 coaches have been installed in the train, in which third AC and second AC facilities are available.

This will provide a comfortable and economical travel option to thousands of fans who want to watch the thrill of the match directly at the stadium. This step of the Railways has been taken keeping in mind the increasing demand and convenience of the passengers. This arrangement of special trains will prove to be especially beneficial for the fans of Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan.
