Ordnance Factory Itarsi has announced recruitment for tenure based Chemical Process Worker posts (Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2026). Notification related to which has also been issued. The total number of vacancies is 262. 108 posts have been reserved for General, 39 for OBC NCL, 39 for SC, 53 for ST, 26 for EWS and 26 for Ex-Servicemen.

Who can fill the form?

The prescribed age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum age limit is 40 years. SC/ST will be given 5 years relaxation, OBC will be given 3 years relaxation and Ex-Servicemen will be given 3 years relaxation. Candidates must have National Apprenticeship Certificate in Primary Trade AOCP issued by NCVT. Apart from this, it is also necessary for the candidates to do apprenticeship from any recognized institution or ordinance factory.

Selection Process and Salary

Preference will be given to candidates trained in Ordnance Factory first. Second preference will be given to those candidates who have the qualification of Government or Private Organization or Ordinance Factory Trade Apprentice. Third preference will be given to those candidates who have done 3 months training in feeder in a government private institute or ordnance factory. Candidates will be called for Trade Test/Practical Test only. Whatever will be of 100 marks. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained in NCVT examination and trade test or practical examination. The weightage of NCVT exam will be 80% and trade test will be 20%. After this there will be document verification.
