Who is the next Chief Minister of Bihar? After Nitish, names of these leaders are at the forefront

There is going to be a big change in the politics of Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar After expressing his desire to leave the post of Chief Minister and go to Rajya Sabha, the political stir regarding the new Chief Minister (New Chief Minister Race) has intensified in the state. After this decision of Nitish Kumar, many names are being discussed in political circles regarding who will take power in Bihar.

Political analysts believe that this time the Bharatiya Janata Party may become the Chief Minister for the first time in Bihar. Under the new equation of power, it is also discussed that the Chief Minister will be from BJP, while two Deputy CMs can be made from JDU quota.

In this series, there is speculation about bringing Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar into active politics. It is being said that he can be sent to the Legislative Council and may be given bigger responsibility in future.

The name of the current Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary is considered to be the frontrunner in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Samrat Chaudhary has long experience of working in the government with Nitish Kumar. At present he also has the responsibility of Home Department (New Chief Minister Race).

Politically, he is counted among the leaders close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Samrat Chaudhary comes from Kushwaha community and is considered a strong contender in terms of Luv-Kush equation in Bihar politics.

Apart from Samrat Chaudhary, the name of Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai is also said to be in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Nityanand Rai is considered a trusted leader of the top leadership of BJP.

He comes from the Yadav community, which is considered to constitute about 14 percent of the population in Bihar politics. Nityanand Rai has also been the state president of Bihar BJP and has been a three-time MP and four-time MLA.

Apart from this, the name of senior BJP leader Janakaram is also being considered among the possible contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Janakaram, who comes from Scheduled Caste, is considered the educated Dalit face of the party. He is currently a member of the Legislative Council and has also previously been an MP from Gopalganj. He has been a minister twice in Nitish government.

Apart from these prominent names, names of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Sanjeev Chaurasia, Nitish Mishra, Dilip Jaiswal and Ramkripal Yadav are also being discussed in political circles (New Chief Minister Race). However, the final decision will be taken only after the party leadership and alliance strategy.
