Simple hacks to clean the fan
Clean with cleaning duster
To clean the fan, you can either remove the fan or use a table. First of all, mix some detergent powder and baking soda in a bucket of water. Also add a little vinegar to it so that the grease can be removed. After this, dip the cleaning duster in it and clean the fan. Rub it gently on the fan. After this, clean the fan with clean water and let it dry.
scrub the petals
Dust, dirt and grime get accumulated in the fan petals. Therefore, it has to be cleaned by rubbing. A special mixture is made for cleaning the fan petals. For this, prepare a paste by mixing liquid detergent, lemon juice and baking soda. After this, scrub all the petals with this paste and clean them by rubbing. Finally, clean the ceiling fan with clean water and let the water dry.
Lemon and Detergent
To shine the fan, make a solution of lemon and detergent. If your fan is white in color then it turns black. Therefore, you can clean the fan by mixing these two things in lukewarm water.
clean the pillow cover
The easiest way to clean fan blades is a pillow cover. For this, take an old pillow cover and put it on the fan blade and pull it out gently. By doing this, the dust accumulated on the blade will remain inside the cover and will not spread in the room.
Microfiber cloth is the best
You can use a microfiber cloth to clean the fan. Dust gets caught quickly in this cloth and does not fly again. With this, you can easily clean the fan blades and the area around the motor.
Clean the corners of the fan with an old toothbrush
The cloth does not reach properly in some parts of the fan. In such a situation, you can use an old toothbrush. This removes the dust accumulated in the corners and meshes of the blade.
Take these precautions before cleaning
Keep in mind that if you are not removing the fan from the ceiling, then always switch it off before cleaning it and if possible, also turn off the main electricity supply. Only after this, clean the fan with the help of a stool or ladder so that no accident of any kind happens. Apart from this, if you are taking down the fan and cleaning it with water, then first allow its moisture to dry completely and only then put it on the ceiling again and run it. Sometimes drops of water remain, which can also cause an accident. After fitting the fan, do not allow anyone to stand under the fan while it is running, first observe the working of the fan for 5 minutes. Only after this turn it on for daily use.
